The Elements 2015 Calendar is perfect for scientists, students, teachers, and anyone interested in the beauty and diversity of nature. Each month shows a full-page photograph of a featured element in its pure form and offers an interesting and informative anecdote. The elements in this year’s calendar are boron, nitrogen, indium, thallium, polonium, plutonium, and thorium. Smaller images of each element, as well as compounds, items made with the element, and products containing the element appear within the monthly grid. Also included are important dates in chemical history, as well as major North American, British, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand holidays.

Nick Mann is a freelance photographer. Aside from having photographed more elements than probably anyone in the world, he is an accomplished landscape, sport, and event photographer. He lives in Champaign-Urbana, IL.
