Each month in The Elements calendar shows a big beautiful photograph of a featured element in its pure form and gives information and an interesting anecdote about the element. Featured elements in the 2016 calendar include: Lithium (3); Zinc (30); Arsenic (33); Kypton (36); Rubidium (37); Lead (82); Beryllium (4); Chromium (24); Neodymium (60); Samarium (62); Americium (95); Silicon (14).

Smaller images of compounds of the featured element are set within the monthly grid. Monthly grids include important dates in chemical history, as well as major North American, British, and Australian and New Zealand holidays.
