Since the publication of Heirloom Baking, Marilynn and Sheila Brass, the inimitable sisters from Cambridge, Massachusetts, have become a pair of celebrities. These two self-proclaimed “roundish women in their sixties” have spent decades collecting heirloom recipes passed down through the generations. In Heirloom Baking they have gathered together more than a century’s worth of America’s favorite desserts and baked goods and lovingly updated them for the modern kitchen.
